Stipend

Each year, Harke Art Center grants an art stipend consisting of 15,000 Skr including a onemonth stay in the guest apartment as an artist-in-residence and free use of the printmaking facilities. Within two years of the grant, an exhibit time is offered at Ahlbergshallen in the center of Ostersund (www.ostersund.se/ahlbergshallen). Financial support is provided for such exhibit. Working artists outside of the province of Jamtland can apply. The purpose of the grant is to promote an excange with artists from other parts of the country ant the world.
The application should be in the form of  a letter on one page of A4 paper (no forms provided) Include a resume’ and ten photos on paper of representative works. Slides and CDs are not accepted. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. The application must be received by the stipend committee consisting of three artists by no later than February 28.
